Manchester United are not in action this weekend despite the final international break of the season coming to an end.

Ruben Amorim's men hit a good run of form prior to the pause in domestic football with seven games without a defeat. They ended a busy period with qualification to the Europa League quarter-final and a thumping 3-0 win over Leicester City.

However, despite United welcoming back his international stars, supporters will have to wait until next week to see their side in action with the four FA Cup quarter-finals taking place. United crashed out of the tournament at the start of the month, losing on penalties to Fulham. It means the Red Devils won't retain the FA Cup this season after winning it under Erik ten Hag last term.

The Premier League anticipate that the vast majority of the eight participants in the quarter-final will be from their division, which has been the case with only Preston North End the only side outside the top division.

To make up for the lack of top-flight action this weekend, a full round of fixtures is scheduled to take place in midweek. United take on Nottingham Forest on Tuesday night, looking to derail their Champions League dreams.

However, further disruption to United's fixture list could play out in the remainder of the season depending on the outcome of this weekend's FA Cup games. Should Bournemouth beat Manchester City and progress to the semi-final, the trip to the Vitality Stadium - set to be played on Sunday, April 27 - will require a new date.

The final is set to take place on Saturday, May 17, the same weekend that United are scheduled to take on Chelsea in the Premier League. Both teams are out of the domestic cup, meaning the clash at Stamford Bridge won't be moved.
