The bar, which is the setting for the music video for his upcoming album Play, will be open this weekend only.

To get access to the boozer fans will have to send “meaningful old message or video” to a dedicated phone number.

The bar is described as “a cozy, warm, and inviting Irish pub”.

“Blending the nostalgia of times gone by with the comfort of your favorite local establishment, guests are a part of something much larger than just a night out.”

The bar has a complete menu with food, beverages and snacks.

“Proudly Serving Tingly Ted's Food,” punters can enjoy a roast beef sandwich, burger, chicken sandwich slider, mini grilled cheese, and fries.

Cape Cod Chips and Pretzels are also on the menu, and can be washed down with soft drinks, water, Guinness or lager.

Sheeran expressed his excitement telling The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon: "It's gonna be cool. We're serving like Guinness and like tater tots and It's gonna be so cool."

His high-anticipated eight album is due to be released later this year.

He said the LP is one of five new albums in the works, and said the next four will be called Pause, Rewind, Fast Forward, and Stop.

The albums will completing the cycle he began with his first five albums titled +, x, ÷, =, and –.

He said he was inspired by Quentin Tarantino’s idea of crafting a 10-film legacy.

The lead single ‘AzIAm’ is set to be released on April 4th, with The Old Phone due for release in the near future also.
