Everton have been unable to tie Dominic Calvert-Lewin down to a new contract ahead of the summer.
As thing stand, the 28-year-old striker will see his current deal run out at the end of the 2024/25 campaign.
Calvert-Lewin is changing agents ahead of the summer, which only adds fuel to the fire over his time on Merseyside.
However, a new chapter is being opened at Everton over the coming months with plenty going on away from the pitch to be excited about.
The Friedkins are expected to back David Moyes in the transfer window as they finally look to put their stamp on the squad.
As the transfer window nears, more and more reported targets are beginning to emerge with one possible Calvert-Lewin replacement on the radar.

Everton showing interest in Bayern Munich target Nick Woltemade
Everton News understands that Everton are looking to sign a new striker this summer, with Moyes suffering from a real lack of consistency.
Seeing Calvert-Lewin exit and Armando Broja return to Chelsea, the 61-year-old’s options will quickly become extremely thin.

According to Sport BILD, Everton are one of the clubs who are showing a real interest in Nick Woltemade.
However, the Toffees are not alone in the race for the 23-year-old with Brighton & Hove Albion also on the scene for his signature.
But the biggest name with Woltemade on their radar is the Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich who view the forward as their next Harry Kane backup.
Woltemade has already told the German Press Agency he is basing his game around the England captain: “I’ve also learnt a lot from Harry Kane. I think you can see a lot there as a striker,” he said.
Moyes has been keen for new forwards to be signed since he returned to Merseyside earlier in the year.
Everton could potentially offer Woltemade regular first-team action, but the lure of playing for Bayern often proves difficult for emerging Bundesliga talents to reject.
Nick Woltemade would be big upgrade for Everton on Dominic Calvert-Lewin
If the Blues are to land the 23-year-old, they would have to navigate Stuttgart’s €40m (£33m) price tag put on the forward.
However, this is a player with vast potential and is already showcasing his talent in the German top flight.
In comparison to Calvert-Lewin, Woltemade is vastly outperforming the 28-year-old and offering reliability in staying free of injuries.

Calvert-Lewin has been criticised this season, with his output leaving a lot to be desired.
The only potential argument to be made is the striker played the majority of his football under Sean Dyche and other players have flourished under Moyes.
But with Calvert-Lewin showing no sign of inking a new deal Everton are well within their rights to start looking elsewhere.
