Freddie Potts has gone from strength to strength down on the south coast during his loan spell away away from West Ham.
Mark Noble suggested that West Ham youngster Freddie Potts is a very special player, after the midfielder put pen to paper on a new long-term deal with the club.
With the Hammers’ need for more energy and dynamism in the middle of the park, many expect the 21-year-old to return to the London Stadium this summer.

Potts – the son of former West Ham player Steve – has everything needed to be a big hit at the London Stadium.
He has pace and power in abundance, as well as plenty of energy and stamina.

The 21-year-old is a very tidy passer of the football, and keeps things ticking from the deep-lying midfield role.
Potts is incredibly aggressive in the tackle as well, and provides a really solid shield of protection for his defenders.

Freddie Potts recently shared his dream to play for the West Ham first-team regularly.
But is he good enough to be playing Premier League football yet? Or would another loan spell away from the London Stadium actually serve him well?
What John Mousinho said about Freddie Potts
The Pompey boss is clearly a huge fan of the 21-year-old Hammers ace.
Potts has made a huge difference for Portsmouth this season, and has arguably been their best player.
Mousinho insisted that he would love Potts back at Fratton Park next term, as quoted by Portsmouth newspaper ‘The News‘:
“It’s good news for Freddie but I think it’s irrelevant (to his situation with Pompey).
“Hopefully we’ve shown over the past couple of seasons to clubs higher up the pyramid that we’re a good club to loan players to.
“We want good players in who can play at the level – and Freddie is certainly one of them.”
I just can’t see Freddie Potts leaving West Ham on loan again this summer.
He’s 21 now, and really does need to start kicking on if he is to make it in the Premier League.
