Dominic Calvert-Lewin seems to be on his way out of Everton this summer, and his most recent decision has proved that.
It seems after Calvert-Lewin’s injury vs Brighton that the striker has reached the end of his time with Everton.
Beto has taken centre-stage as David Moyes’ striker after Calvert-Lewin has had several chances but not performed.
It’s a shame for the 28-year-old who looked like the next best thing with the Toffees after back-to-back double-figure seasons in 19/20 and 20/21.
Now, Calvert-Lewin has changed agents, which gives more signs he will be departing this summer, and this is something Sean Dyche saw before.

With Calvert-Lewin still injured at Everton, who knows if the striker will play for the club again.
Moyes can’t have unreliable players if he is to turn around Everton’s fortunes, and judging by his injury history, Calvert-Lewin fits into that bracket.
Calvert-Lewin’s most days missed during Everton spell
Broken toe 126 days
Hamstring injury 76 days
Back injury 69 days
Hamstring injury 67 days (current)
Knee injury 61 days
This is no fault of Calvert-Lewin, who has been extremely unlucky with setbacks at the club.

With him changing agents, this normally means that a player is looking to force a move, as Newcastle have shown interest in Calvert-Lewin, which could be a possible destination for the striker.
When in charge, Dyche had his issues with Calvert-Lewin’s contract talks and, in a pre-match press conference at the end of October, made his feelings clear about his agency.
“We can still make decisions on situations, and I can’t see anything other than him being here certainly until the end of his contract and then hopefully beyond. We’ll see,” Dyche said.
“Maybe that’s up for him to decide. Maybe it’s his agent, saying wait and see. I don’t know, and that would be fair, wouldn’t it?”

Moyes’ Calvert-Lewin mission has failed at Everton
It was clear from the get-go that Moyes warned under-performing Everton players, and this more than likely included Calvert-Lewin.
The Scotsman was hoping he would be able to turn around the striker’s fortunes, as Moyes wanted to give Calvert-Lewin confidence.
Of course, the injury didn’t help, but it’s now out of the Everton boss’ hands.
All in all, Everton should start preparing for a life without their main man for the last six seasons.
