Jonathan David's response to West Ham and Chelsea offers will seriously raise some eyebrows

West Ham United and Chelsea have been chasing Jonathan David for quite some time now.

The electric Lille striker will be a free agent in the summer, and numerous clubs, including West Ham and Chelsea, are clamouring to sign him.

Graham Potter is said to be eyeing a transformational move to bring Jonathan David to West Ham in the summer transfer window.

He is one of the very best strikers on the planet, there’s no doubt about that.

Jonathan David’s performance for Canada earlier this week piqued the interest in him even further still.

However, it seems like the Hammers have been first to swoop in for him.

The 25-year-old striker is said to be on nine clubs’ radars ahead of the summer!

So it will be far from easy for the Hammers to sign him.

He is clearly a striker very much in demand, but where will he be playing next season?

Jonathan David responds to West Ham and Chelsea offers

The Lille striker has been in stunning form this season, with 23 goals and 10 assists to his name in 41 games so far (Transfermarkt).

But is he really out of West Ham’s range?

It certainly doesn’t seem so.

The Canadian is said to be impressed by what Graham Potter is planning for West Ham, whilst not being keen on joining Chelsea, according to i Paper.

That will seriously raise some eyebrows.

Hopefully West Ham are able to bring Jonathan David to the London Stadium this summer.
