The Memphis Grizzlies have moved quickly to replace fired head coach Taylor Jenkins with the postseason looming.
At 44-29, Memphis has just nine games left on its regular season schedule, and is currently the No. 5 overall seed in the Western Conference - tied by record with the No. 4-seeded Los Angeles Lakers.
Shams Charania of ESPN has announced that Memphis has decided to promote assistant coach Tuomas Iisalo as its interim head coach.
