Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan makes joint statement on behalf of 71 UN countries on strengthening multilateralism and human rights
AKIPRESS.COM - Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan Omar Sultanov made a joint statement on behalf of 71 UN countries on strengthening multilateralism and human rights at the UN Palace of Nations during the 58th session of the UN Human Rights Council on March 27.
The statement says that the international community cannot afford to undermine the global consensus on international norms and institutions.
"We reaffirm our commitment to multilateral cooperation in the field of human rights and the Human Rights mandate as a key body for the protection and promotion of human rights around the world," the representative of Kyrgyzstan noted.
