Marcus Rashford's decision to sell his £450,000 car near Manchester has led to rumours about his future growing stronger.

The Manchester United academy graduate is currently on loan at Aston Villa until the end of the season but the Birmingham-based side have the option to make his move permanent for a fee of £40million in the summer.

Villa are understood to be happy with Rashford, who rediscovered his form at Villa Park after being dropped by Ruben Amorim at United. However, they are said to not be making any decisions at this time.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Villa are not expected to activate his buy-clause between now and April but instead, are likely to wait until the end of the season to see if they can secure European football.

Unai Emery's side returned to the Champions League/European Cup this season for the first since 1982 and Rashford has started in the last two round-of-16 games against Club Brugge.

Despite being under contract at Old Trafford until 2028, there are question marks over whether the Reds academy graduate still has a future at United. More so now that he has sold his Lamborghini supercar to a dealership in Altrincham, according to the Sun.

This could hint at him wanting to sell his things in Manchester over the possibility of staying in the west Midlands permanently.

The report adds that Rashford swapped the luxurious Lamborghini Aventador to add a special edition Audi to his collection, worth £177,000.

Only 660 have been made worldwide and the GT model holds a 4-litre twin-turbocharged engine - producing 630 horsepower and 850 Newton-metres of torque. The estate car fits five passengers comfortably and also holds a spacious boot space.

Amid uncertainty over Rashford's future at United, Amorim previously said of the winger: "It’s always the same reason. The reason is the training, the way I see what a footballer should do in training, in life.

"I will put Vital before I put a player that doesn't give the maximum every day, so I will not change in that."
