Final Injury Report for Jazz-Nuggets, Will Nikola Jokic, Lauri Markkanen Play?

The Denver Nuggets are at home on Friday night at Ball Arena as they host the struggling Utah Jazz.

Denver enters Friday's game amid a rough patch as they have dropped five of their last 10 games but they are coming off a victory over the Milwaukee Bucks on Wednesday.

They will now look to pick up back-to-back wins on Friday when they take on a Jazz team that is amid a four-game losing streak and has also lost nine of their last 10 games.

Of course, the headliner for Friday's contest for the Nuggets is the health of their superstar center Nikola Jokic who made his return from a five-game absence on Wednesday.

The good news for the Nuggets is that Jokic has been listed as probable and is expected to play despite a lingering ankle injury. This is massive news for Denver who struggled without Jokic in their lineup.

Another day of Nuggets injury reporting. Jamal Murray is questionable for Friday's game vs. Utah with R hamstring tightness.

Denver has also listed Aaron Gordon as probable due to a calf and ankle injury and Michael Porter Jr. has also been listed as probable due to a back injury but both are expected to play.

Christian Braun is also expected to play as he has been listed as probable with a foot injury.

The Nuggets have listed Jamal Murray as questionable with a hamstring injury. Of course, Murray missed two games due to an ankle injury over the last few weeks, but he is now dealing with a hamstring injury that could keep him out of Friday's game.

If Murray is sidelined, expect Russell Westbrook to replace him in the starting lineup.

On the other side, the Jazz may be without their star forward Lauri Markkanen as they have listed him as questionable due to conditioning.

Markkanen has missed five consecutive games for the Jazz and he could miss his sixth on Friday against Denver.

Utah has also ruled out Jodan Clarkson, Elijah Harkless, John Collins and Taylor Hendricks for Friday's contest.

Fans can catch Friday's matchup between the Jazz and Nuggets at 9:00 p.m. EST.
