Key Celtics could be moved this offseason

According to Jake Fischer and Marc Stein the Boston Celtics championship starting five might already be on their last hurrah due to the team's astronomical tax bill and the penalties that come with being a repeat second apron team.

The Celtics reportedly won't entertain breaking up their super max duo of Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown, so speculation has arisen on which of the other three big contracts will be moved. While Derrick White would be the most sought-after remaining starter, Brad Stevens and the Celtics plan to hold onto him as their third guy.

That leaves Jrue Holiday and Kristaps Porzingis as players who could be traded as soon as this offseason. Porzingis who will turn thirty this offseason has one year left on his contract and woould likely be easier to move despite his injury history. The departure of Holiday, who turns thirty-five this June, would open the door for Payton Pritchard to move into the starting line-up.

Needless to say Brad Stevens will be tasked with making some tough calls within the next year. So enjoy the this Celtics group's excellence while you still can.
