Netanyahu Instructs Mossad to Find Countries for Gaza’s Mass Displacement

**DayofPal**– Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who is wanted by the International Criminal Court (ICC), has reportedly instructed the Mossad to seek nations willing to receive large numbers of forcibly displaced Palestinians from Gaza, according to a report by Axios.

Two senior Israeli officials and a former U.S. official confirmed that Netanyahu issued this directive weeks ago. Israeli representatives have since engaged in discussions with multiple countries, including Somalia, South Sudan, and Indonesia, in an effort to facilitate this plan.

This initiative follows the overwhelming rejection of former U.S. President Donald Trump’s proposal to expel Gaza’s entire population of over two million people. Trump had envisioned transforming the besieged enclave into a “Middle Eastern Riviera” following the forced removal of its residents.

In a parallel development, Israel’s Cabinet recently approved the establishment of a new directorate within the Defense Ministry to oversee what it terms the “voluntary departure” of Palestinians from Gaza.

However, far-right ministers within the government have advocated for far more draconian measures, including the deliberate destruction of essential resources, food supplies, water infrastructure, and electricity, to coerce Gazans into leaving.

Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich has openly stated that the government is actively engaged in the logistics of facilitating Palestinian “migration.”

He further estimated that, at a rate of 5,000 departures per day, it would take a year to fully expel Gaza’s population, a move widely condemned as ethnic cleansing.

Israeli media reports indicate that military strategies will be employed to support this displacement agenda. These include expanding Israeli military control over Gaza, enforcing systematic evacuations, tightening the blockade, and imposing stringent restrictions on humanitarian aid entering the territory.

Despite enduring months of genocide and an escalating humanitarian catastrophe, Palestinians have staunchly refused to abandon their homeland. Additionally, both Arab and Western nations have expressed strong opposition to any large-scale displacement of Gaza’s population. Legal experts warn that such actions constitute war crimes under international law.

Since October 2023, Israel’s ongoing genocide in Gaza has resulted in the deaths of more than 50,000 people, according to the Gaza health ministry. While a limited number of wounded Palestinians have been permitted to leave, no country has thus far agreed to accept a large influx of refugees.
