The Denver Nuggets might be fresh off a win as they take on the Utah Jazz, but they've lost three of their past five games.
A recent injury to Nikola Jokic, as well as his supporting cast being banged up, hasn't helped, but the Nuggets have certainly been mediocre as of late.
However, there are just under ten games left in the regular season to re-find form and get prepared for the postseason, as they are in the thick of the playoff standings race.
Every game counts late in the season for a team like Denver, and they lead the Utah Jazz 57-47 at halftime behind 19 points from Jokic.
On top of Jokic's stellar first 24 minutes, Michael Porter Jr. has added ten points.
Another Nuggets player has performed well before the break, with Russell Westbrook adding seven points off the bench on 3-of-7 shooting while adding four assists.
It's not atypical for Westbrook to provide a scoring and playmaking boost off the bench, but it's his energy and effort that provide a massive spark plug for the squad.
Westbrook makes NBA history during Nuggets-Jazz
On top of the points and assists, Westbrook came away with a first-half steal, which happened to etch his name further in NBA history.
On top of surpassing Oscar Robinson to have the eighth most assists in NBA history, he surpassed Kobe Bryant to have the 16th most steals in league history.

Not only has Westbrook been superb for the Nuggets in his role -- he's an NBA legend.
The future Hall of Fame point guard has won an MVP while setting league history on many occasions. His impact on the league might not be felt yet, but as he continues to rack up new milestones, he further etches himself in NBA history.
