MARCOS Senesi will be in the AFC Bournemouth squad to take on Manchester City in the FA Cup after recovering from injury.

The Argentine has been ruled out since the away game at Wolves in November but received the green light to return to training after surgery on a quadriceps injury earlier this month.

But, after two good weeks of training with the squad across the international break, Andoni Iraola said he will be involved this weekend.

The boss also gave positive updates on the fitness of right backs Julian Araujo and Adam Smith, who have also been out through injury in recent weeks.

“Marcos, definitely he cannot play now a 90-minute game, but I think he's going to be in the squad and he can help us,” Iraola said.

Providing an update on team news in the context of returning internationals, Iraola said: “They are all back.

“They trained today, the ones who were with the national team.

“We've worked a couple of weeks working well with especially with Marcos, with Julian.

“Adam is starting to do also some things with the group.

“So I think it's overall good news.”
