Lorenzo Lucca is the latest striker Arsenal are reportedly interested in.
Lucca, 24, has scored a dozen goals for Udinese this season and is now a senior Italy international after playing three times during their Nations League campaign. After just two seasons in Serie A, scoring nine times last term, Inter and Napoli are credited with an interest in the 6ft 7in centre-forward.
Udine-based newspaper Messaggero Veneto also claims Nottingham Forest are keen, reputedly less so than the Gunners and Liverpool. Atletico Madrid are also said to have sounded out Lucca amid the acknowledgement an auction could now ensue this summer.
It would reportedly take a circa £35million offer, including add-ons, with at least £30million guaranteed. Udinese, however, already plan to sell the striker and sign a replacement whose career they can launch like Lucca.
football.london says: Lucca has scored goals over recent seasons but only has one other season in double-digits across all competitions, which was with Palermo in Serie C. Ajax also did not exercise an option to sign the striker two years ago after spending a season on loan in Amsterdam, so Arsenal should do likewise.
Lokonga latest
Sevilla reportedly cannot afford the £10million option to sign Albert Sambi Lokonga. Vamos Mi Sevilla FC [via Sport Witness ] claim the club reputedly hope the player can press for a move to help them reduce the asking price set last summer.
football.london says: Lokonga acknowledged during a press conference last month wanting to stay in Seville, suggesting he feels as good there as he had anywhere since leaving Anderlecht. However, the player conceded it is not just his decision to make.
Injuries have limited his involvement in Spain this season, and with barely a year remaining on the player's contract, Arsenal may have to accept selling at a slightly discounted price.
