As a result of continued efforts of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan and the Afghan Embassy in Abu Dhabi, have secured the agreement for the release of 54 Afghan nationals from various prisons in the United Arab Emirates.
Expressing gratitude to the President of the UAE, H.E. Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, for his generosity, releasing Afghan prisoners during this blessed month of Ramadan, the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan considers this initiative a clear the commitment to fostering friendly bilateral relations between Afghanistan and the UAE.The list of the 54 individuals, having been released, is attached.
