'Excuse Me? 'That Is Too Much Money' '£30M Max' Fans Shocked By Man Utd Transfer Target's Price Tag

Southampton may demand upwards of £100m for Manchester United target Tyler Dibling, according to reports.

The Telegraph claims that the Saints are not going to sell the talented teenager for a discounted price despite the prospect of being relegated back down to the Championship:

Needless to say, Dibling’s asking price has not gone down too well with supporters on X who feel that the 19-year-old’s valuation has been inflated by a significant degree:

Dibling does have plenty of suitors

It’s clear that Southampton are hoping for a bidding war. The Telegraph names United’s rivals Manchester City and Tottenham as the two leading contenders to sign the forward.

Chelsea have also been mentioned as potential suitors in recent months, while there is believed to be interest from several teams in Germany as well.

Considering United’s limited transfer budget, you can’t see them going anywhere near Dibling, unless the Saints reduce their price tag by a sizeable amount.

Who could United sign instead?

In just the past week, the Red Devils have been linked with several different wingers/no.10s who could be deployed in Ruben Amorim’s front three.

Juventus’s Kenan Yildiz is said to be an option. The Turkish international is the same age as Dibling and would be available for a lot less money.

RB Leipzig’s Xavi Simons is another possible target, while the Manchester side have also looked at Braga’s Roger Fernandes.
