Richarlison teases Everton fans on social media amid rumours of a return

Some Everton fans will be dreaming of a potential return for Richarlison in the Friedkins’ first summer window.

David Moyes is expected to have the full support of the new owners on Merseyside following his opening two months.

Everton fans could not have asked for much more following the change of managers back in January.

However, there is a pressing need to add to this current squad with plenty of players also set to leave at the end of the term.

Everton are looking to address four key areas in the transfer window this summer.

One of them is up top with both wingers and strikers being targeted, as Everton show interest in Tottenham’s Richarlison.

Ahead of the summer, the Brazilian may well be teasing Everton fans with a recent social media post.

It is even believed Moyes would approve of signing Richarlison over the summer in what would be a blockbuster return.

The 61-year-old manager has already shown returns to Merseyside can work, and Richarlison is in clear need of a fresh start.

On Friday evening, the Brazilian took to social media to share an image of himself playing in an Everton kit.

Although this does not have any definite meaning in terms of the forward’s future, it does go to show he still has Everton in his heart.

Tottenham are open to selling Richarlison for £40m this summer after buying him from Everton for £60m in 2022.

The forward would certainly arrive back on Merseyside with some serious injury questions hanging over his head.

But a potential return to the club would be a real statement from the Friedkins as Everton move into Bramley-Moore Dock.

Everton need players like Richarlison

As things stand, Dominic Calvert-Lewin looks set to leave the club at the end of the season when his contract expires.

Calvert-Lewin is changing agents ahead of the summer in what looks like a clear attempt at finding his next move.

And that is fine, the striker has played out his contract and he is free to move on.

However, Everton cannot waste their time in offering players new contracts when they do not want to be there.

The Brazilian is a player who loved playing for Everton and that has been made clear on his returns.

Richarlison has been spotted applauding the Everton fans on his visits back to Goodison and that is the type of player who the club will surely want on their side going into next season.
