'Wow': Lewis Hall can't believe what he's just heard about Newcastle teammate Alexander Isak

Lewis Hall has been left ‘surprised’ about something he’s recently heard about Newcastle United teammate Alexander Isak.

Newcastle United are enjoying a fantastic season, especially after winning the Carabao Cup to bring their 70-year wait for a trophy to an end.

Eddie Howe and his players will celebrate with fans with an open-top bus parade through Newcastle on Saturday before attention turns back to the Premier League.

Injury sadly ruled him out of the victory at Wembley but Lewis Hall has been brilliant at left-back throughout the campaign.

With a foot injury likely keeping Hall out for the rest of the season, the England international may well spend his time playing the EAFC video game.

Hall spoke about the game in a recent interview and was shocked to discover Alexander Isak wasn’t rated as ‘press proven.’

When asked to guess which players had the trait for being composed on the ball when they’re being pressed, he picked Isak.

He said: “I think Alex has got to have one as well, his dribbling is unbelievable,” yet he was then told he didn’t have the play style.

“It’s not? Wow. That’s surprised me, that.”

Lewis Hall names Alexander Isak goal as one of his favourites

Hall went on to hail Isak with even more praise when he was then asked what is the favourite goal he has been on the pitch to witness is.

He picked the Swede’s sensational strike in the 3-3 draw with Liverpool in December.

“Alex’s one against Liverpool,” he added. “It was definitely not a finesse shot.

“The power was unbelievable.

“It wasn’t until after the game when I watched the goal back until I saw how far out he actually was.

“It was just the speed the ball travelled at was unbelievable.”

Isak has promised to shoot from distance more after scoring another screamer for Sweden in the international break.
