Liverpool are said to be ready to accept offers for their star midfielder, Harvey Elliot, should the club receive any this summer.
Harvey Elliott has made it clear that he wants to stay at Liverpool, expressing his strong desire to fight for his place in the team.
However, reports suggest that the club would be open to accepting a “good offer” for the 21-year-old should one come in this summer. It’s been a challenging season for Elliott, marked by injury setbacks and struggles to secure a consistent spot in Arne Slot’s plans.
So far, he has only played 587 minutes this season, a stark contrast to his 2,776 minutes in the previous campaign, when he featured in every matchday squad. This sudden change in role has made it a frustrating year for the young talent.
In January, Elliott was linked with moves to Brighton and Borussia Dortmund, but he was quick to shut down those rumors, stating:
“Liverpool is my club, Liverpool is my team. I want to fight for my place, fight for my position in the team.”
While this stance is unlikely to change in the summer, Sky Sports’ Melissa Reddy, who has strong contacts at the club, suggests that “a good offer would be accepted this summer.”

Liverpool ready to hear offers for Elliot
The idea of Elliott leaving Liverpool seems unlikely at the moment, but the club’s stance does signal that they could be open to offers for the midfielder.
Reddy’s comments come amid ongoing speculation about Trent Alexander-Arnold’s future, with the possibility of him moving to Real Madrid.
It’s been noted that Liverpool would find it hard to be upset by Alexander-Arnold’s potential departure if they are also willing to accept a good offer for Elliott.
Liverpool signed Elliott from Fulham in 2019 for a fee that could rise to £4.3 million. Since then, he has developed into an important squad member, although his role this season has been less prominent under Slot’s management.
Despite this, Elliott remains a valuable homegrown player, and it seems only an offer too good to turn down would convince Liverpool to part with him.
As Liverpool are in the thick of a Premier League title challenge and facing other transfer decisions this summer, it will be interesting to see how Elliott’s situation plays out.
While it’s unlikely that either the club or Elliott will push for a move, the door is still open for a transfer if the right offer comes along.
