West Ham United could be dealt a big blow by Everton manager David Moyes this summer.
David Moyes left West Ham at the end of last season, and waited the best part of a eight months before finding employment again, this time with Everton.
It has already been claimed that Everton boss David Moyes wants to sign West Ham duo Tomas Soucek and Vladimir Coufal this summer.
I wouldn’t mind if Coufal left to join the Toffees one little bit, and if we received a decent fee for Soucek, I would let him go as well.

However, a worrying report is doing the round that Moyes is looking to bring another player to Bramley-Moore this summer.
And this one would hurt the Hammers big time.
David Moyes back to haunt West Ham with Maxime Esteve move
Maxime Esteve is attracting interest from the Hammers and the Toffees ahead of the summer window.
Standing at 6ft 4in tall, the Frenchman is an aerially dominant centre-back, but he’s great with the ball at his feet as well.
He will be a fine addition for whichever club wins the race for his signature.
MORE WEST HAM STORIES
Foot Mercato claim that West Ham and Everton are battling it out to sign the giant centre-back this summer.
West Ham tried to sign Maxime Esteve last summer, but he remained with Burnley in the end.
The 22-year-old joined Burnley from Montpellier on an initial loan deal in January 2024, before making his move to Turf Moor a permanent one in the summer of that year.
Scott Parker once called Esteve ‘unbelievable’ (Burnley Express), and he’s right – he really is a very good defender.

The Clarets are said to be demanding around £30 million for the former Montpellier man (L’Equipe).
That’s an awful lot of money but I believe it will look like great value in years to come.
Maxime Esteve Premier League / Championship stats compared
In 16 Premier League appearances for Burnley in the 2023/24 season, Esteve averaged 1.7 tackles, 1.7 interceptions, 3.4 clearances and 1.7 successful aerial duels per game. He made 50.6 passes on average per match and recorded a completion rate of 84.4%.
In 38 Championship outings this season, he’s averaged 0.8 tackles, 0.9 interceptions, 4.7 clearances and 2.1 successful aerial duels per match.
He’s made 68.1 passes per game and has recorded a completion rate of 90.6% (Who Scored).
Burnley have more of the ball in the Championship, so it’s no wonder why his tackle and interception stats are lower this term.
Maxime Esteve would be a fine addition for West Ham this summer, but David Moyes could come back to haunt us by bringing him to Everton.
