The final international break of 2024/25 has just been wrapped up, and Wolves will feel quietly confident heading into the last stretch of the campaign.
It was delight for Vitor Pereira before the break as Wolves secured a 2-1 win over Southampton thanks to a Jorgen Strand Larsen brace.
Wolves survival chances were dealt a huge boost by that victory as it moved the Old Gold nine points clear of the relegation places.
In the first game back on Tuesday night, Wolves host West Ham in the Premier League, the side one place and eight points above them in the table.
Ahead of the showdown at Molineux, the officials have now been named and one selection may cause controversy.

Tony Harrington will referee Wolves vs West Ham
On Tuesday, April 1st, commonly known as April Fools Day, Tony Harrington has been selected as the referee with Scott Ledger and Sian Massey-Ellis as his assistants and Stuart Attwell on VAR.
Harrington has taken charge of 12 Wolves matches previously, with the Wanderers winning six of them, drawing three and losing three.
MORE WOLVES STORIES
It’s a solid record on paper and was bettered on Boxing Day when Wolves clinched a 2-0 victory over Manchester United, which was officiated by Harrington.
Unfortunately, despite doing a good job in that fixture, supporters won’t forget the fatal error he made the last time Wolves met West Ham at Molineux.
Harrington disallowed Max Kilman’s equaliser against West Ham
In April 2024, Wolves lost 2-1 against West Ham in controversial circumstances. Pablo Sarabia handed his side the lead from the spot before the Hammers staged a second-half comeback through Lucas Paqueta and James Ward-Prowse.
However, the hosts thought they’d found an equaliser through Max Kilman in the dying embers of the game as he powered his header past Lukasz Fabianski.
Harrington initially awarded the goal, seeing nothing wrong with the Englishman’s header, but once he was instructed to go to the monitor, all hell broke loose.
Harrington disallowed Kilman’s goal after deeming Tawanda Chirewa to be interfering with play as he was stood in front of Fabianski.
This was a complete joke of a decision, as replays showed that the Polish shot-stopper was never getting to the ball and Chirewa wasn’t impeding him.
Gary O’Neil slammed Harrington for making a ‘terrible’ decision while other pundits, most notably Ian Wright, were left bemused by Harrington’s call.
Ultimately, such an horrendous error cost Wolves at least a point in that game, and they’ll hope he doesn’t make another blunder on Tuesday night.
