Hello and welcome to our live coverage from 'United United day' - a joint protest against the Glazers' ownership of Manchester United.
United United Day is a tradition that dates back to 2005 and was held most recently in 2019. It is aimed at promoting a FC United of Manchester matchday to Manchester United fans when United don’t have a fixture – encouraging them to experience FC United for the first time or to return if they haven’t been for a while.
And today's fixture against Stockton Town is expected to be busier than usual as leading Manchester United fans group 'The 1958' will be attending Broadhurst Park stadium for the first time in a joint protest.
The 1958 have been protesting against the Glazers' ownership at Old Trafford, along with other issues impacting fan culture, and the two groups will stand together in their opposition of their ownership of United.
We will have boots on the ground at Broadhurst Park so stick with us for all of the latest updates throughout the day.
What is different this time?
What makes this year’s United United Day different is that 'The 1958' – a leading Manchester United fans group – will be attending for the first time to hold a joint protest as part of the day.
It is the first time Manchester United fans have joined FC United supporters in protest at their Broadhurst Park stadium.
