Super Bowl champion coach lands new deal

The Baltimore Ravens have been one of the powerhouses in the AFC for the better part of two decades under head coach John Harbaugh. And on Friday, the organization made sure that Harbaugh won’t be going anywhere anytime soon.

Harbaugh has been one of the few coaches to have success with multiple different quarterbacks over the course of his career, first winning a Super Bowl with Joe Flacco and now continuously being on the cusp of a return to the Super Bowl with Lamar Jackson.

Things have changed year over year with the Ravens. But Harbaugh has been the constant in Baltimore. And he will continue to be exactly that for the organization for years to come.

On Friday, the Ravens announced that they have agreed to terms with Harbaugh on a three-year contract extension that will keep him in Baltimore through the 2028-29 NFL season.

The Ravens announce they have agreed to a 3-year extension with head coach John Harbaugh. He usually gets a deal done in the final year of his current one, and the trend continues.

It’s hard to argue anything other than this being incredibly well deserved for Harbaugh. During his time with the Ravens, Harbaugh has led the Ravens to 12 playoff berths, the second most in the league behind just Andy Reid.

While Harbaugh hasn’t yet been able to return to another Super Bowl, the team always finds itself right in the mix to do so. That shouldn’t change this coming season, as they should again be among the top teams in the AFC.
