A big summer transfer window is fast looming on the horizon for Nottingham Forest as they approach the final weeks of the 2024/25 season.
The Reds are in FA Cup quarter-final action away to Brighton and Hove Albion today (5.15pm kick-off), bidding to head to Wembley in the last-four of the competition. Attention will then quickly turn to the Premier League as Nuno Espirito Santo's third-placed side target a top-four finish.
Manchester United are the visitors to the City Ground on Tuesday evening (8pm kick-off), in Forest's first league game after the international break. Making it three league wins in a row will be the target as the Reds aim to secure Champions League qualification in their remaining nine fixtures.
Whatever happens in the coming weeks, Forest are likely to have a busy summer full of ins and outs. Tweaks will be made to Nuno's squad with the aim of pushing on again next term.
Decisions will need to be made on the future of several players. The Reds will have a call to make on Aston Villa loanee Alex Moreno. An option to make his switch a permanent one was included in the deal but it remains to be seen whether the club take it up.
Forest hold an option to secure centre-back Willy Boly for another year but he has been linked with a switch to Saudi Arabia in the summer. Harry Toffolo and Jonathan Panzo (currently on loan at Rio Ave) may well also depart as free agents when the time comes.
Full-back Ola Aina's contract is due to expire in June, too, but the club have a 12-month extension in their favour and talks have taken place with the Nigerian over a longer deal. Meanwhile, it emerged earlier this week a new deal is also in the pipeline for full-back Neco Williams. As the summer window looms, NottinghamshireLive takes a look at when every Forest player's contract is due to expire.
