Oregon nurse justifying Bibas family murder, sacked after public pressure

Camesh Hart, an Oregon nurse who justified the kidnapping and murder of Shiri Bibas and her two baby boys by Hamas terrorists, has been fired from the Oregon Health and Science University Hospital. (OHSU) Her dismissal came after she said in a post that she would refuse to treat Jewish patients.

The ousted nurse said Shiri Bibas was a legitimate target of Hamas, because of her past in the IDF. She said the Bibas family should be grateful that Hamas did not return the bodies of the mother and her two young sons in "blue zip-up body bags."

Among other recent posts, Hart called for the annihilation of Jews and said she would "choose to go with H group [Hamas] any day." In one post, she said she would refuse to treat a Jewish person because "I do not treat dogs, rats, vermin of any kind." In another post, she said she hoped Jews meet their maker soon.

Hart's online posts caused outrage after the Physicians Against Antisemitism, an advocacy group, exposed her online comments calling on OHSU to dismiss her. After public pressure, the hospital, ranked among the top five in the U.S., confirmed that she was fired.

Hart's nursing license remains valid through November 2025, despite calls on the Oregon Nurses Association to revoke it for violating the Nightingale Pledge, the nursing code of ethics, committing to provide professional care to any patient and prohibiting discrimination in medical treatment.

Officials in the state's medical system said the chances of her license being revoked were slim before she would be made to face the association in November.

Hart is a married mother of four who lives in Portland, Oregon. She launched a GoFundMe campaign to defend against what she called "online bullying" because of her opposition to "genocide." She said she was the victim of harassment, claiming she does not support antisemitism.
