West Ham Transfers: Czech Mate as Moyes Plots Double Raid

David Moyes is expected to sanction an Everton offer for West Ham midfielder Tomáš Souček this summer.

The former Hammers gaffer is already tipped to snap up out-of-contract Irons right-back Vladimír Coufal, and now his Czech mate could also be set to join him.

Souček’s West Ham contract is due to expire in the summer of 2027, and the Hammers hierarchy have no intention of entering negotiations for a new deal for at least another twelve months.

The big Hammers midfielder is said to want to remain in East London but currently sits on the lower end of the pay scale for senior players. There’s certainly a sense that, given the frequency and importance of Souček’s goals, he shouldn’t be lagging behind the likes of Guido Rodríguez in wages.

“Big Sou” has been an outstanding servant to West Ham since joining from Slavia Prague in January 2020, before signing permanently the following July.

It is understood the player would love to captain West Ham one day and is not agitating for a move. However, if Everton and David Moyes come in with a tempting offer, he could yet leave the London Stadium this summer.

An Everton bid of over £20m would be expected to land the transfer of 3o year old Soucek.
