Nine months after leaving his position as Liverpool manager, the enigmatic Jurgen Klopp has been linked with a sensational return to the world of management as three options – one at club level and two on the international stage – have opened up.
Upon leaving the Anfield dugout, the German – widely regarded as one of the greatest managers in Premier League history – agreed to become the Head of Global Soccer for Red Bull in January, a role which elicited plenty of negative reaction.
Klopp’s name is enshrined in Liverpool’s long and storied history, having arrived from Borussia Dortmund in 2015 and steering them to plenty of success, both domestically and continentally. One of his crowning moments included winning the Premier League.
Three Sides Reportedly Interested in Klopp’s Services
According to TBR Football, Stuttgart-born Klopp may not be rushing back to the prospect of being a manager – but should he choose to opt for a return, he’ll certainly have the pick of the bunch given his long-standing exploits in management.
TBR Football’s chief correspondent, Graeme Bailey, has reported that Real Madrid, who are currently managed by the seasoned Carlo Ancelotti, are among those interested in giving the ex-Reds tactician a chance to strut his stuff on the sidelines again.

What Happened to the 10 Best Players Jurgen Klopp Wanted to Sign at Liverpool
A dive into the best players Jurgen Klopp missed out on signing during his time at Liverpool.
The aforementioned Ancelotti is reportedly ready to leave his position in the Spanish capital in the summer, thus leaving the door ajar for Klopp should he wish to join the serial-winning European juggernauts, who sit at the summit of La Liga.
Given that Klopp, 57, cited his energy – or lack thereof – as a main attributor behind his Liverpool departure, he may not be suited to the never-ending nature of club football, which requires a manager’s full focus week in week out.
As mentioned, however, there are two international outfits who are keen to lure the out-of-work custodian. That includes Brazil, who have recently given head coach Dorival the boot, though Ancelotti remains the favourite for the South American nation.
TBR Football also understands that the United States Mens National Team (USMNT), should they part ways with Mauricio Pochettino after a poor run of form, could try and entice Klopp into taking their potentially vacant role.
Ex-Tottenham Hotspur chief, Pochettino, has found managing on the international stage too onerous and recent meetings with Daniel Levy have raised suspicion over a return to north London – and Klopp could be relied on to get them back on track.
