Buffalo Bills Reporter Suggests Two Major Trade Targets to Watch

The Buffalo Bills have had a solid offseason. However, they have not had an elite offseason to this point in time.

What could make the offseason a huge win? Quite simply, the Bills need to bring in an upgrade for quarterback Josh Allen.

So far, Buffalo has lost Mock Hollins and replaced him with Joshua Palmer. There has been no improvement to the wide receiver room, although Amari Cooper is also still a free agent.

If the Bills want to make a run to the Super Bowl in 2025, adding more offensive firepower should be a priority. Thankfully, there are still some options for Buffalo.

Matt Parrino of New York Upstate, a reporter covering the team, has suggested two potential trade targets to keep an eye on for the Bills ahead of the NFL draft.

"Two other names to monitor are New Orleans Saints receiver Chris Olave, who does come with a concerning concussion history, and maybe Minnesota receiver Jordan Addison," Parrino wrote. "The Vikings just gave All-Pro receiver Justin Jefferson a monster new deal and Addison will be extension eligible after the 2025 season. The Bills and Vikings have pulled off a trade in the past for a big-time receiver and Beane should look into Addison's availability. From the outside looking in, Addison seems to have played his best ball when Jefferson was out of the lineup in 2023. He's a vertical threat who can win at all three levels. I think he'd be a fun addition to the Bills offense."

Both wide receivers would be major upgrades for the Buffalo offense and would bring playmaking ability to the field.

Olave played in just eight games during the 2024 season. Back in 2023, however, he played in 16 and caught 87 passes for 1,123 yards and five touchdowns.

Addison, on the other hand, is coming off of a 2024 season that saw him catch 63 passes for 875 yards and nine touchdowns. As a rookie in 2023, he totaled 70 receptions, 911 yards, and 10 touchdowns.
