HAVANA, Cuba, March 28 (ACN) Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla denounced recent threatening statements by the U.S. Secretary of State against Venezuela.
On his official X (Twitter) account, Cuba's top diplomat warned that these threats endanger the peace, security, and stability of Latin America and the Caribbean.
Rodríguez Parrilla stated that Cuba is "well acquainted with [the U.S.] capacity to lie and promote the use of force to achieve its nterests."
"Threats by the U.S. Secretary of State against #Venezuela jeopardize peace, security and stability in Latin America and the Caribbean. We know well their ability to lie and advocate force to pursue their interests."
The condemnation comes after Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro rejected belligerent remarks on Thursday by Marco Rubio, who issued threats against Venezuela's national sovereignty from Guyana.
