Breaking: Projected Top-10 Pick Could Fall In NFL Draft After Disastrous Interview

Arizona’s Tet McMillan is widely considered to be the best wide receiver in the 2025 NFL Draft, but that could change following a disastrous interview. In a recent clip, the projected top-10 selection showed a concerning lack of work ethic, saying he doesn’t watch football and never watches his own film by himself.

Really surprised this hasn’t made the rounds more. I’m out on Tet McMillan. Here’s why courtesy of S&L ➡️ pic.twitter.com/Pwdv9ta7pf

Not being in love with the game of football is not inherently a deal-breaker in a prospect. Hall of Fame running back Curtis Martin famously did not enjoy the sport, but that didn’t prevent him from having a legendary career. However, not watching film on your own should be a massive red flag for his professional aspirations. Getting by on talent alone can work in college, but it won’t at the professional level.

It’s easy to take things out of context in today’s day and age, so perhaps Tet McMillan presents himself better in private team interviews leading up to the NFL Draft. The talent is undeniable, and the following five teams could still roll the dice on him despite his self-professed impartiality to the game.

Tet McMillan Gives Disastrous Interview Answer Ahead Of 2025 NFL Draft

Carolina Panthers

The Carolina Panthers have two promising yet unproven wide receivers in Xavier Legette and Jalen Coker. While these second-year players have a high ceiling, they both have low floors. Adding Tet McMillan in the 2025 NFL Draft increases the odds of at least one player developing into a career-long weapon for breakout quarterback Bryce Young.

Dallas Cowboys

The Dallas Cowboys have a great wide receiver in CeeDee Lamb, but not much else. Quarterback Dak Prescott is at his best when he has two reliable wide receivers, and he hasn’t had that since Amari Cooper joined the Cleveland Browns. With Lamb and Tet McMillan, the 2025 NFL Draft could give Prescott the offensive firepower needed to compete in a loaded NFC East.

New Orleans Saints

On paper, the wide receiver duo of Chris Olave and Rashid Shaheed can support a quarterback like Derek Carr. However, Olave’s extensive concussion history combined with his perceived frustration with the team means Kellen Moore’s squad could use another wide receiver. General Manager Mickey Loomis has never shied away from making a high-risk, high-reward gamble, and Tet McMillan could be his next big NFL Draft gamble.

Los Angeles Chargers

Chances are, Tet McMillan will be off the board long before the Chargers are on the clock in the NFL Draft. However, if these comments make him slip, he probably won’t make it past the 21st overall pick. Head coach Jim Harbaugh fortified the offensive line, but he hasn’t done much to improve the wide receiver position. Harbaugh is an old-school coach, but he needs someone other than Ladd McConkey to go blow-for-blow with the elite AFC offenses.

New England Patriots

New England probably won’t select Tet McMillan with the fourth-overall pick. However, the Patriots could trade back with a quarterback-needy team and use their new first-round pick on the wide receiver. Stefon Diggs is a fine short-term solution, but this team needs a young pass-catcher with meaningful upside.
