Everton manager David Moyes has proven a lot of people wrong in his opening two months in the job.
The Toffees are returning from the international break with Premier League survival all but wrapped up.
A stunning turn of form has seen Everton’s fortunes turn on their head under the 61-year-old’s tenure.
But Moyes has not been willing to label his side as safe from the drop just yet despite their 17-point cushion on the bottom three.
Sean Dyche has praised Moyes’ work at Everton admitting it was the right decision from the club owners.
The 53-year-old has begun to speak out about his time at Everton, with the former manager causing some controversy.
However, it is now Moyes who has admitted one major doubt he had about returning to Goodison Park.

David Moyes shares major Everton concern
Dyche spoke to Moyes ahead of his sacking and he told the 61-year-old the players were in good shape.
MORE EVERTON STORIES
The league table did not quite reflect this, with the Blues right in the danger zone at the bottom end of the standings.
Speaking to Unfiltered Soccer, Moyes has now admitted he was really worried about the prospect of taking Everton down into the Championship.
“I didn’t expect Sean to go. I thought Sean was staying but I think he thought it was the best time for him and for Everton and he made the right choice there at that time,” he said.
“So when I got the job, I was so worried if I take Everton down that would be a disaster because I’ve been here so long.”
“And it’s easy for people to say that it’ll be fine, but if that was to happen it would be catastrophic.”
Moyes has embarrassed numerous big-name pundits who did not expect him to provide Everton with much different to what Dyche did.
There has been next to no issues for Moyes since he returned to Everton, but there is a huge April ahead for the Blues.
David Moyes should be among Manager of the Season nominees
It really has been some turnaround from the Toffees since Moyes made his return to Goodison Park.
Moyes won February’s Manager of the Month award as Everton put in an unbeaten month in the Premier League.
It would be very difficult to argue that Moyes deserves the award for Manager of the Season over someone like Nuno Espirito Santo, but he should be among the nominees.
Many fans were worried about the second half of the season with a real fear over going into Bramley-Moore playing Championship football.
The coming weeks could put a different spin on Everton’s run of draws as they face some seriously difficult games.
But keeping Everton safe is all that matters ahead of what is going to be a huge summer.
