Chelsea simply can’t stop buying players and are apparently ready to reignite their interest in Barcelona defender Jules Kounde.
The Blues have already missed out on Kounde previously, with Barca winning the race to land the Frenchman in 2022, but haven’t stopped thinking about him - apparently.
Diario Sport are reporting that Chelsea want to add Kounde to their already-ginormous squad and will go “all out” for Barcelona’s defender this summer.
The report claims Chelsea plan to woo Kounde by promising him he can play in central defence and waving wads of cash in his general direction.
Kounde’s not the only defender on their wishlist either. The Blues are also the latest club said to be interested in Bournemouth Dean Huijsen as they look to strengthen once again.
As for Barca, there’s already been talk of a contract extension for Kounde as his current deal expires in 2027 and no suggestion at all that he’s interested in a move away.
