Thousands of Newcastle United supporters lined the streets to welcome Eddie Howe’s Wembley heroes home.

This is it - the moment 150,000 Newcastle United supporters roared their team through the city to celebrate the Carabao Cup.

Iconic scenes 70 years in the making unfolded around Newcastle upon Tyne as Eddie Howe’s heroes were paraded through the town centre. A wave of black and white was on show as emotions spilled out onto the streets - with fans young and old cheering on the Magpies.

Raucous applause emanated around Tyneside every time the Carabao Cup was lifted into the sunny North East sky. The bus set off from St James’ Park and made its way towards Chinatown before turning left at Eldon Square.

Players then coasted down Percy Street and past the Haymarket as they made their way to the Town Moor. Celebrations are set to continue on the moor, with legends of the past - as well as Ant and Dec - doing a public Q&A.

For those who missed it, watch our footage of the bus parade below. Stay tuned to NewcastleWorld throughout the day as we bring you all the updates from the Carabao Cup celebrations.
