Thousands of fans have packed out Newcastle city centre to watch Newcastle United's players pass by on an open top bus as part of the Carabao Cup victory parade.

Major roads in the heart of Newcastle were closed off so fans could get as close as possible to the winners' bus as it travelled from St James' Park to the Town Moor.

A sea of black and white covered the entire route as the city celebrated the win and the club's first domestic trophy in 70 years.

The bus set off from the ground at around 4.30pm on Saturday and took the players, along with famous fans Ant and Dec, to the Town Moor for a ticketed celebration.
