24-yo striker with 96 career goals wants to link up with Bowen at West Ham this summer - report

West Ham United seem to be very well-placed to sign one striker in particular this summer, because of Jarrod Bowen.

Graham Potter will be desperate to bring a top-class striker to West Ham in the summer transfer window, in order to provide more quality up front alongside the likes of Jarrod Bowen.

Jarrod Bowen was delighted when Graham Potter got the West Ham job, and the future is very bright indeed at the London Stadium.

If Potter is to take the Hammers to the next level though, he will need to keep Bowen at West Ham, and build his team around him.

The Hammers head coach is said to be keen to add more dynamism and youth to his West Ham ranks this summer.

And our latest target certainly fits into both of those categories…

So the Hammers may well have our striker issue sorted.

Georges Mikautadze is said to be keen to join the Hammers this summer, according to Caught Offside.

And it has been claimed that the opportunity to play alongside Jarrod Bowen is something that’s very appealing to him.

West Ham have been linked with Georges Mikautadze since 2023, and the Georgia international is apparently back on the radar now.

He has bagged 96 goals in 186 games throughout his career, and has 14 goals and eight assists to his name in 38 appearances for Lyon this season (Transfermarkt).

He can play as a number 10 or out wide on the left if need be as well.

On paper, he seems absolutely perfect for us.

Could Georges Mikautadze work alongside Jarrod Bowen?

I genuinely believe that the Georgian would work wonders lined up next to Bowen.

He is at his best when drifting out to the left, even when operating as a centre-forward.

So that means that the two players wouldn’t get in each other’s way for start!

He possesses really impressive pace, exceptional technical ability and he is obviously a very good finisher.

The thought of Georges Mikautadze lined up alongside Jarrod Bowen for West Ham next season is a hugely exciting one.
