Seven Manchester United players and David De Gea have shown their true colours after Marcus Rashford's latest social media post.

Rashford, who recently returned to the England squad after missing out on the European Championships last year, featured in both games World Cup qualifiers against Albania and Latvia this month. The 27-year-old has endured a difficult season after being dropped by Ruben Amorim, prompting a move to Aston Villa on loan.

At Villa Park, Rashford has rediscovered his form, registering four assists in nine games, though he is yet to score a goal. However, in a most recent appearance, he created six chances in a single game - a feat he previously achieved over 426 games with United.

For England, Rashford played a pivotal role in the 3-0 win over Latvia, providing an assist for Harry Kane. As he gets ready for Villa's FA Cup match against Preston on Sunday, Rashford showed his fans what he's been up to.

Taking to Instagram, he posted some pictures of him solo training along with the caption: "The extra 1%," followed by a football and muscle emoji.

The post achieved 169,000 likes and over 1100 comments. Among the likes were current United players, Lisandro Martinez, Leny Yoro, Diogo Dalot, Joshua Zirkzee, Antony and Ethan Wheatley.

Antony and Wheatley, currently on loan at Real Betis and Walsall respectively, have been keeping tabs on Rashford's stint in the West Midlands. Former goalkeeper David De Gea and Brandon Williams were also spotted in the 'likes' section.

It's not the first time current and former players have shown their support to Rashford, however.
