Dejan Kulusevski and Kevin Danso injury updates ahead of Tottenham vs Chelsea

Based on the latest training footage released by Tottenham, it appears that we have an update on Dejan Kulusevski and Kevin Danso ahead of the London derby against Chelsea.

A total of 17 Tottenham players were away with national commitments during the international break, but Ange Postecoglou has seen all of them return to North London over the past few days.

The Australian will be relieved that all of his players seem to have come through unscathed. He will also be thankful that his side have a full week to prepare for the big London derby against Chelsea.

However, it appears he might have to wait a bit longer to get back a couple of his key players.

Two Tottenham stars missing from training

In the latest training video released by Tottenham, Richarlison was seen going through the warm-ups, which suggests that the Brazilian, who has been out of action since the start of February, is now close to a return.

Lucas Bergvall, who missed both of Sweden’s friendlies due to illness, was also involved in training.

However, there was no sign of Dejan Kulusevski in the footage, nor was anybody able to spot Kevin Danso in any of the warm-ups or the drills.

The Swede has been out with a foot injury since the start of March while the Austrian centre-back has missed the last three games with a thigh injury.

Ange Postecoglou will be desperate for key players to stay fit for final run-in

Tottenham’s primary focus over the next two months will be on the Europa League as the Lilywhites try to create history and salvage what has been a campaign to forget so far.

Ange Postecoglou will be desperate to ensure that his key men remain fit for the final run-in as his side look to overcome Eintracht Frankfurt and book their place in the final four of the competition.

The Australian will likely wrap the likes of Cristian Romero and Micky van de Ven in cotton wool to ensure that they do not suffer any setbacks at this crucial junction of the season.
