Canon has introduced two new cameras, the PowerShot V1 and EOS R50 V, expanding its EOS/PowerShot V Series to cater to video creators across various domains, including cinema, livestreaming, vlogging, and VR. The PowerShot V1 is a lightweight and compact camera that prioritizes ease of use and high-quality visuals. Key features include:

An ultra-wide-angle zoom lens (17-52mm for video, 16-50mm/F2.8-4.5 for stills).

A 1.4-type sensor with approximately 22.3 megapixels.

An internal cooling fan for extended video recording.

A still/video switch for quick transitions, a first for PowerShot cameras.
