Ashton Jeanty Pro Day Highlight Turns Heads Ahead of NFL Draft

While several big-name prospects headline the 2025 NFL draft class, Boise State Broncos running back Ashton Jeanty could end up becoming the most impactful player of the bunch. A recent highlight from his pro day ahead of the upcoming draft further supported the notion that Jeanty is set to become a stud in the NFL.

Jeanty is fresh off a historic 2024 campaign with Boise State, as he led all FBS-I rushers with a staggering 2,601 rushing yards and 29 rushing touchdowns, helping him earn a second-place finish in the race for the Heisman Trophy. And now, he's setting some huge goals for himself as he prepares to enter the NFL.

"To be the best. To be the best that's ever played the game," Jeanty said when asked his top goal for his NFL career. "I feel there's no reason to play the game if you don't want to be the best, if you don't want to compete. But I think in that there's a lot of things that come with it. Being in the community, all that. Making others better around you. But I don't just play for them. I play to be the best."

Where Jeanty will end up going in the 2025 draft remains a mystery, as running backs aren't valued as much as other positions are in the league currently. Still, Jeanty may be an exception, as he continued to turn heads when a clip emerged of him during his pro day quickly went viral on social media.

The expectation is that Jeanty's absurd production with the Broncos will warrant a first-round selection for him. The Dallas Cowboys and Las Vegas Raiders have been two teams linked to him frequently, but it is worth noting that their high spots on the board in the first round could ultimately lead to them passing on Jeanty.

The 2025 NFL draft is set to get underway on Thursday, April 14 at 8 p.m. ET.
