The BBC were forced to apologise after Newcastle captain Bruno Guimarães repeatedly swore live on air - ignoring Ant and Dec's pleas.
Football star Guimarães took to the stage with his wonder team during the Carabao Cup trophy parade, after the side sensationally beat Liverpool 2-1 in the history making match.

To mark what is Newcastle's first domestic trophy in 70 years, an estimated 150,000 fans showed up to celebrate their team. But it looks like Guimarães, 27, got carried away when he got the microphone in his hand.
He took the opportunity to enter an expletive rant about rivals Sunderland. Jumping up and down with his team behind, the footballer sung: "Sandro Tonali, he eats spaghetti, he loves Moretti, he hates f****** Sunderland."

Newcastle fans ate up the chant about Magpies player Tonali and bashing their arch-rivals. However, Guimarães didn't stop there with his potty mouth.
Later in the evening, some of Newcastle's greatest exports, Ant & Dec, took to the stage to speak with the side. "Bruno, you can have the microphone as long as you cut the swearing," Ant said before reluctantly passing over the mic.
Dec chimed in: "He doesn't understand." The Newcastle captain then started to jump up and down with his team, with the TV presenters joining in on the fun.
The pair probably thought the awkward on-air blunders had finished as they smiled while bouncing on the spot, singing about being champions.

Dec confidently asked the captain one final question, which proved to be a bit of a mistake. The Geordie presenter said: "What did you say to the boys before they went out for that final?"
The cheeky captain replied: "Well, I said to them, today we go to the pitch as a player and we leave as f****** legends." Ant and Dec burst into laughter as the team and crowd cheered the sweary answer.
It quickly urged the BBC to announce an apology for what they called an 'overwhelmed' Guimarães. The commentator awkwardly shared to viewers: "Again, apologies for any bad language that you're hearing the players, particularly captain Bruno, obviously very overwhelmed by all of this."

Good job many people saw the funny side of the red face-inducing moment for the BBC. A clip of the moment was shared on X, formerly Twitter, where it has now racked up over 500,000 views in just a couple of hours.
One fan wrote: "The personalities in our team are incredible, love them all." Another user said: "Not a Newcastle fan but fair play this is beautiful to watch."
Someone else expressed: "Give him a new contract for this alone." Along with a row of love heart emojis, a fourth noted: "Brunoooooo."

However, others didn't find it so charming with one user dubbing the moment "embarrassing."
