The Orlando Magic are in the thick of the Play-In race, and with a few games remaining in the regular season, they still have some time to make some movement. Currently in the No. 8 spot in the Eastern Conference, the Magic have a chance to leap over the Atlanta Hawks for the No. 7 seed, but it's going to take for them to lock in and win as much as they can.
The Magic are having sort of a down year after what they were able to accomplish last season, and the main reason for that has been because of injuries. Mo Wagner is out for the rest of the year, while Jalen Suggs is still being sidelined with an injury.
The Magic are now dealing with another injury to one of their key players, Cole Anthony, who has a left big toe strain. They announced that Anthony will be out for their game against the Sacramento Kings on Saturday, which will make it his sixth straight game missed and his eighth in the last nine for the Magic.
Anthony has been the spark off the bench for the Magic all season and had to step up when injuries to Suggs, Franz Wagner, and Paolo Banchero occurred.
Anthony is averaging 9.6 points per game this season.
