Bills Draft ‘Big-Name Prospect’ In Latest Mock

Much of the attention this offseason for the Buffalo Bills has been on getting Josh Allen another weapon with Josh Palmer signed in free agency.

But the defense has also gotten some love, with Joey Bosa, Michael Hoecht, and Larry Ogunjobi being signed to give the Bills' defensive line, which struggled in the playoff loss to the Kansas City Chiefs, some more firepower.

However, Buffalo might not be done adding talent to an area of the roster that now appears to be getting some serious bite.

In Pro Football Network's latest mock, Ole Miss stud Walter Nolen comes to the AFC East champs.

"Walter Nolen is a big-name prospect who entered college as one of the best recruits in the country," Pro Football Network writes. "The talent has always been there for Nolen, and he put it all together in his final year at Ole Miss. He is a quick-twitch defensive tackle prospect with great power and lateral agility. The Buffalo Bills have one of the best defensive lines in the NFL and have continued to add to the unit with the additions of Bosa and Larry Ogunjobi this offseason."

Having played two of his three college seasons at Texas A&M, Nolen moved to Ole Miss in 2024 and had his best-ever season.

Nolen registered 6.5 sacks and 14 tackles for loss, as his playmaking ability and explosiveness wreaked havoc on the offensive line and made life hell for the quarterback.

Projected to be a Day 1 starter, adding Nolen to a defensive line that has Bosa, Greg Rousseau, Ed Oliver, A.J. Epenesa, Ogunjobi, and Hoecht will give the Bills some serious firepower.

It is unknown whether Nolen will last until pick No. 30, but if he's still on the board, Buffalo will be quick to turn in the draft card.
