Erin Andrews Sends 2-Word Message After Florida Defeats Texas Tech

During the NFL season, sportscaster Erin Andrews is one of the most recognizable faces on TV. During March Madness, however, she's just a fan rooting for her alma mater, the Florida Gators.

After No. 1 seeded Florida defeated No. 8 UConn 77-75 they moved to face Maryland in the Sweet 16, where they walked away with dominant 87-71 victory. In the Elite 8, Florida faced the No. 4 seeded Texas Tech Raiders on March 29.

With less than four minutes in regulation, things looked incredibly grim for Florida with Texas Tech up 75-66. After failing to shoot from a deep and being outplayed nearly the entire game, the Gators when on an 18-4 run in the last three minutes, drilling four consecutive threes, and won 84-79.

"They've done it all year," Gators coach Todd Golden told reporters after the game. "They stayed the course - never too high and never too low. We're down nine going into the last media (timeout). We just had to dig in and get some stops."

Andrews, who graduated from Florida with a Bachelor of Arts degree in communications, and was a member of the Gators Dazzlers dance team, reacted to the comeback win on her Instagram Stories.

"Let's goooooooo," she wrote with several gator emojis.

Next up, Florida moves to compete in the Final Four, which kicks off on April 5, and fans can expect Andrews to be watching.

While the 46-year-old sideline reporter's future with Fox remains unclear, as her contract expired following the 2024 NFL season, she's been incredibly busy this offseason.

In addition to launching a partnership with the NHL for "The Get Your Body Checked Against Cancer" campaign, she enjoyed a getaway in Big Sky Montana, where she hung out with Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, and his girlfriend, Taylor Swift.
