Eddie Howe’s brilliant message during Newcastle celebrations
As the bus paraded through the city, Eddie Howe was stunned by Newcastle supporters. “This is something else,” he said.
“You’ve got people hanging from lampposts and out of buildings. I hope everyone is alright and stays healthy!”
Before the bus had set off from St James’ Park, a huge banner of Eddie Howe was unveiled.

Eddie Howe deserves a statue at St James’ Park
After Newcastle’s Carabao Cup success, Paul Scholes mocked Howe getting a statue, dismissing it as an outrageous idea.
But he is completely overlooking what the cup means to Newcastle and it’s fanbase. After 70 years of shortcomings, it was Howe and his squad that ended the wait for a trophy.
Howe broke records by winning the cup, becoming the first English manager to get his hands on silverware for 17 years.

Unlike Scholes, Shearer said “Eddie will be able to pick wherever he wants his statue,” and there will be absolutely zero backlash from the Newcastle fanbase.
