Everton boss David Moyes is reportedly eyeing a move for Scotland winger Ben Doak, with the former Celtic prospect attracting strong interest ahead of the summer transfer window.

The 19-year-old, who broke through at Liverpool after leaving Celtic as a youth player, is believed to be available for around £25 million. That price tag hasn’t put off Moyes, who sees Doak as a priority target to strengthen his squad at Goodison Park. [SunSport]
Doak has made strides in his development over the past couple of seasons, earning recognition with the Scotland national team before an injury setback disrupted his progress. A loan spell at Middlesbrough has provided him with valuable game time, and he’s shown flashes of the explosive ability that first brought him to prominence at Celtic.
Doak made his senior debut under Ange Postecoglou during the 2021/22 season and even featured in a Glasgow derby, becoming one of the youngest players to ever appear in the fixture. However, with his contract running down, he opted to move to Liverpool – a decision that was met with disappointment by Celtic fans at the time.
His path to regular first-team action at Anfield has been hampered by injuries and intense competition, and a move away could provide the consistent opportunities he now needs to fulfil his potential.
Moyes’ interest marks a potential return to more familiar territory for Doak, who could see a move to Everton as a major platform to reignite his rise in the Premier League and cement a long-term place in the Scotland setup.
