Club make survey for Arsenal player–Desire to‘play more’ can spark exit

Jakub Kiwior has not been a regular for Arsenal this season. The defender has played only eight Premier League games and in all competitions, he has featured only 17 times.

His last league start for Mikel Arteta’s side came back in December against Fulham and he hasn’t played since then.

Tuttomercatoweb have reported the Poland international intends to ‘play more’ for Arsenal and this can spark an exit in the summer.

In the last few days, Bayer Leverkusen have come forward for the 25-year-old and they have made an initial survey to understand about his situation at the Emirates.

While it is difficult to know whether Kiwior will leave Arsenal in the summer or not, he is currently valued at a fee of €15m to €20m. That price has fallen since last year, when other clubs had come calling for the ex-Spezia player.

The German champions are expected to lose Jonathan Tah in the summer and there are doubts about the future of Piero Hincapie as well. Kiwior can come in as a much-needed defensive option and his desire to seek more game can help in a transfer.
