West Ham United are seemingly about to be made to look very silly indeed by Liverpool.
Both West Ham and Liverpool are expected to be very busy indeed in the transfer market this summer.
Graham Potter and Arne Slot desperately need to bolster their ranks at the London Stadium and Anfield respectively.
Potter is said to be plotting a huge squad revamp at West Ham, with the injection of more youth and dynamism right at the top of his agenda.

There will be huge change at Liverpool under Slot as well, with some of their big guns expected to move on for pastures new.
And one signing they are looking very likely to make will leave the West Ham fans feeling absolutely gutted.

If that deal does go through, the Hungary international would become Liverpool’s fifth most expensive signing of all-time behind only Darwin Nunez, Virgil van Dijk, Alisson Becker and Dominik Szoboszlai.
West Ham could have signed Milos Kerkez for just £8 million from AZ Alkmaar back in the summer of 2023.

The Hammers got a first hand glimpse of just how good the now 21-year-old left-back is, during our two-legged Europa Conference League semi-final showdown with AZ Alkmaar two years ago.
However, he ended up joining Bournemouth instead, and has proven to be an incredible player over the past 18 months.
Why did West Ham reject Liverpool bound Milos Kerkez?
The Hammers owners simply have to change the way in which they approach transfers in the future.
Potter’s remit has to be to sign the very best and most exciting young players on the planet.
Kerkez should be a West Ham player right now.
However, David Moyes passed up on the chance to sign Kerkez due to his lack of experience of playing Premier League football.
That now looks like a really poor error of judgement to say the least.
The Mirror have described the rapid Bournemouth left-back as an ‘incredible player’, and they’re absolutely spot on there.
Milos Kerkez will be a huge hit at Liverpool, and the West Ham fans will undoubtedly be watching him with real envy next season.
