Liverpool midfielder Ryan Gravenberch is a doubt for the Reds’ game against Everton on Wednesday.
He had to return from international duty before the Netherlands’ first game against Spain due to a knock that he picked up during Liverpool’s 2-1 defeat to Newcastle United in the Carabao Cup final.
The Reds next play against rivals Everton in the second Merseyside derby of the season, the first of which ended in a 2-2 draw not long after David Moyes re-joined the Toffees – it was also the last derby at Goodison Park.
However, Liverpool may be without Gravenberch for the game on Wednesday as he is still recovering, it is not yet clear as to whether he will be fit for the game at Anfield, meaning Arne Slot may have to find a replacement.
Expected return date – Wednesday 2 April vs Everton (H)
Alisson
Goalkeeper Alisson suffered a head injury during Brazil’s first international game against Colombia on March 21. He had to be taken off with what looked a serious issue, but it has now been deemed as minor.
The Brazil national team boss said: “He is normal, with no complaints. He reported no fainting and no memory loss. Today, we will do the tests, all the necessary evaluations. In the possibility that everything is normal, we will make a sequence of observations in the coming days.”
Alisson is working to making a return against Everton, but seeing as there is a chance that he could miss the game, Caoimhin Kelleher may start instead.
