Everton are undergoing several changes as the Toffees near their relocation from Goodison Park to their new stadium.

The Merseyside club were recently taken over by The Friedkin Group, while Angus Kinnear is set to join as Chief Executive ahead of next season.

Current director of football Kevin Thelwell is set to leave the Toffees, which is indicative of just how full-scale the changes being made at Everton are.

Despite that, though, chief scout Dan Purdy is set to remain with the Blues as Kinnear is an admirer of his work.

MORE TOFFEES STORIES

Vaughan remains the Premier League’s youngest-ever goalscorer after he scored at 16 years and 271 days old for Everton against Crystal Palace in April 2005.

The former striker re-joined the Toffees at board level after retiring, but he is now set to end his current role with the Blues.

Moyes will be keen to provide Everton with a Merseyside derby win

Amid plenty of changes at Everton this term, the biggest alteration in personnel came when the Merseyside club sacked former manager Sean Dyche and chose to re-appoint ex-Toffees hero Moyes.

It has proved to be an inspired choice by the Goodison Park side as Moyes has comfortably secured their Premier League status in a manner which may not have been possible under Dyche’s rein.

Courtesy of their current manager’s fantastic exploits in the dugout, Everton have now enjoyed a nine-game unbeaten run in the top flight heading into their Merseyside derby clash on Wednesday (2 April).

A win over the league leaders at Anfield would be an incredibly memorable feat for the Toffees, but one which Moyes will be keen to fulfil as he looks to enjoy a positive end to the season.

The Blues have not won a Merseyside derby on away turf since 2021, when their supporters were not present due to the Covid pandemic.
